KEIM – Keep Energy in Mind 1st goal: Students get instructions how to save water and energy in school and learn how to adapt this knowledge for their daily life. 2nd goal: Annually contest of the Department of Education, Schools and Sports in cooperation with the local energy-provider E-Nergie to educate pupils, teachers, and parents and also to save costs for water and energy. NATURE IN THE CITY – Abenteuer Stadt-Na(h)tur 1st day: Explore School Grounds Students explore immediate school grounds as habitat for animals, insects and plants and to record their discoveries. 2nd day: Protect nature and get active Students create posters to present their findings and discuss the relevance of living environment in Nuremberg. PROTECT YOUR WATER – Was(s)erleben in Nürnberg 1st day: field trip Students visit a local river or pond, search for animals, document their results and learn in a playful way, why the protection of drinking water and prevention of water pollution is important. 2nd day: (drinking) water in Nuremberg Students get to know the drinking water circuit of Nuremberg and make experiments.
